360 Mobiles, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer is a part of well-known Qihoo 360. The Qihoo 360 offers anti-virus software. 360 Mobile offers cheap smartphones at a cheap price tag in the market. Recently, a new smartphone with QiKU 1607-A01 model number from 360 Mobiles appeared on GFXbench benchmark site that revealed the company is working on a smartphone that comes with 6GB of RAM on board.
The spotted 360 Mobiles smartphone with QiKU 1607-A01 model number is not a first smartphone that comes with 6 GB of RAM. The company already launched 360 N5 smartphone with 6 GB of RAM, earlier this year. According to the GFXbench database, the upcoming 360 Mobiles smartphone has similar specifications under the hood to the 360 N5.
On the GFXbench site, the upcoming 360 Mobiles smartphone with QiKU 1607-A01 model number comes with 5.7-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an Octa-core CPU which clocks at 1.8 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset under the hood. It has 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU for better graphics performance. It comes with pre-installed Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box with custom UI running on top. According to the specifications, it looks like a budget range smartphone.
There is no information about when the company will be launch this device. Starting this year, 360 Mobiles launched its two smartphones, called 360 N5 and 360 N5s. Both the smartphone came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset on the board. It looks like the upcoming smartphone with QiKU 1607-A01 model number is an another variant of the 360 N5. It might be launched as a 360 N5 Plus smartphone because it features bigger 5.7-inch display.
