MHT CET Result 2017 had been announced yesterday evening, i.e., 3rd June 2017 at mhtcet2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in for the aspirants who attempted the entrance examination on 11th may 2017. MHT CET 2017 examination had conducted by DTE Maharashtra for admission to undergraduate degree courses in B.E/B.Tech and B.Pharma/Pharma.D.
In comparison to prior years, this year the entrance test was relatively easier as several questions were conceptual and calculation /application based. The official provisional answer keys were also published after the entrance test. In all 3,89,520 students had registered for the MHT CET 2017 examination and about 90 percent of them attempted it.
Due to heavy traffic, numerous students could not check their results. Not even one percent of candidates who attempted for MH CET 2017 examination for engineering and pharmacy scored 150 out of 200 marks i.e. 75 percent or more in the exam. The highest marks acquired by a student in PCM are 197, on the other hand, 190 in PCB group. The presentation of candidates from PCB was worse as about 24 percent crossed 150 and Less than 9 percent of candidates scored 100 marks.
TSEC i.e. Thadomal Shahani Engineering College‘s principal Gopakumaran Thampi alleged that results are not up to mark this year because of the tougher examination sheet. He added that ‘Poor results don’t indicate that candidates have attempted poorly as it means that paper was harder than the prior-year.’
MHT CET 2017 counselling will begin from 5th June as all the aspirants who manage secure the cutoff marks can partake in the MHT CET 2017 counselling session. The cutoff of MHT CET will vary from courses to courses, college to college and will be separate for each category. All the admissions in the Institutes of MHT CET 2017 will be entirely based on the marks secured in the examination. Students will be able to ensure their merit list to make out their ranks on 22nd June 2017.
