ICC Champions Trophy 2017, Pakistan will face South Africa at Edgbaston today at 6 pm. Pakistan is on the edge of being removed subsequent to losing their opening match against India and on the other hand South Africa crushed Sri Lanka in their opening game. Currently, in the space of just a few days, Pakistan must by some means raise their game to beat South Africa in today’s ICC Champions Trophy 2017 match if they are to have a chance of reaching semi-finals.
The weather luckily looks good as it is a bright and sunny day. South Africa will be heading into the tournament with a lot more self-confidence after a win over SriLanka in London. On the other hand for Pakistan the will be busy reworking on their schedules as they failed in all the three areas which would be a huge worry for them. Pakistan does not have anything to count as their potency as the batsmen crumble under pressure even if they get starts they squander it.
Micky Arthur did not chop up his words subsequent to Pakistan’s sorrowful defeat to India. Also confessing several players were in clouds at the beginning as he called the game a reality check of where we stand.
On the other hand, Sarfaraz Ahmed hoped there would be little nervousness for some of his players in lower profile game and alleged that ‘ I think India-Pakistan was a huge match in which a couple of youngsters were playing their initial match against India and possibly they felt a bit of pressure.’
