Wimbledon 2017: Indian Challenge ended Following Rohan Bopanna, and Gabriela Dabrowski lost out in the Quarterfinals

Yesterday India’s challenge at Wimbledon ended following Rohan Bopanna, and Gabriela Dabrowski lost out in the quarterfinals. Bopanna and Dabrowski, who had succeeded the French Open together, pushed the defending champions all the way earlier than Kontinen and Watson framed them in a nail-biter 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 in precisely two hours on Centre Court. The outcome came just hours following Kontinen lost a five setter in the men’s doubles in dramatic fashion.

With Bopanna’s defeat, India’s challenge is ended at the All England Club as  Sania Mirza, and Ivan Dodig blew out in the third round of the mixed doubles affair and Rohan departing the men’s doubles in the second round.
